Honor GT Pro: A Snapdragon 8 Elite-Powered Flagship with Impressive Specs

Honor is preparing to release the GT Pro, a new model to complement the already announced GT. While the GT Pro has been rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, new information from China reveals additional details about its specifications.

The phone is expected to sport a 6.78-inch “1.5K” flat display, alongside a 50 MP main camera and a battery with a capacity ranging between 6,000 mAh and 7,000 mAh—although it will start with the 6,000 mAh version, not the full 7,000 mAh. Additionally, it will support 100W wired charging.

Honor is reportedly testing the phone with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, though this feature might not make it to the final version. Interestingly, the GT Pro is also expected to be the cheapest phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, though this is a bit relative, as its only serious competition at that price point is likely to come from the Realme GT 7 Pro.

As per a previous leak, the Honor GT Pro is expected to be officially launched around mid-year, possibly in June. This gives plenty of time for more details to emerge, so stay tuned for further updates.
