Realme has expanded its 14 Pro series, introducing a new model with an unexpected name—the Realme 14 Pro Lite.

At its core, the Realme 14 Pro Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. However, unlike its Pro siblings, which launched with Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, the Pro Lite ships with Android 14 (Realme UI 5.0). That’s a bit of a letdown for those hoping for the latest software out of the box.
The 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display is a strong point, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powering everything is a 5,200mAh battery with 45W charging, slightly smaller than the 6,000mAh battery found in the 14 Pro.
The camera setup is decent for its price:
- 50MP primary (Sony LYT-600) with OIS
- 8MP ultrawide (112° FOV)
- 32MP front camera for selfies
Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio, and an IP65 rating—though it lacks the IP68/69 durability rating and MIL-STD-810H certification found in the Realme 14 Pro.
The Realme 14 Pro Lite is available in Glass Gold and Glass Purple, with two memory configurations:
- 8GB/128GB – INR 21,999 ($250/€240)
- 8GB/256GB – INR 23,999 ($275/€260)
Both variants are available in India through Flipkart and Realme’s official website.
While “Pro Lite” may sound contradictory, this device still packs solid hardware for the price. However, the lack of Android 15 at launch and the reduced battery capacity might make buyers think twice before choosing it over the standard 14 Pro.
